Our Three Stories of Creative Space include:

An isolated vocal booth, separated guitar amping room, and an open drum loft that sends sound over into the event center for ground breaking reverb and micing applications.

Our studio also features a vintage analogue EMT plate reverb, updated with fresh electronics and optimized by Augie Newell @ Silent Audio in Asheville, NC

OUR TEAM

andrew reed

owner/multi-instrumentalist

Andrew is a recording and creative artist dubbed a “rock mystic” by indie press. Through a “vision,” Reed saw and built a 3-level, state-of-the-art, remote mountaintop recording compound where artists could reside and become absorbed in their projects. Andrew specializes in Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Zappa, and Beatles-type recordings, though he is a veteran in nearly all genres of rock, folk and country.

alex hamlin

engineer/multi-instrumentalist

Alex graduated Cum Laude at Montreat College with a BA in Music Business with a focus in audio production. He grew up in the upstate of South Carolina before moving to Western North Carolina for school and to pursue a career near the growing music scene of Asheville. He has spent much time at Echo Mountain Recording Studio during college, and has assisted on numerous recording sessions and projects.

joe parker

engineer/drummer

A Full Sail graduate and an advocate for all things DIY music, Joe has a taste for the unorthodox. While he enjoys deep diving into any music that comes from the heart and soul, his ear is especially tuned for genres like Shoegaze, Alternative Rock, Singer-Songwriter, Post-Rock & Hardcore.
